MIGDALIM

Between the Tapuach intersection and Ma’aleh Ephraim at a height of 800 meters above sea level, this secular community of 35 families between the ages of 20 and 60, is comprised of mainly native-born Israelis with a few olim families from the former Soviet Union.

Most residents are self employed or work in the field of education or administration.

Migdalim residents are fortunate to actually see the surrounding hills dusted in snow periodically during the winter.

Ma’aleh Ephraim provides a warm, caring day care center and kindergartens in addition to their elementary school and high school. Children travel there with organized Regional Council transportation.

Extracurricular activities for children include jamboree, carpentry and art with fitness classes available for women in the community gym.

The synagogue operates primarily during holidays and women who wish to go to mikve are welcome at the Ma’aleh Ephraim mikve.

Residents travel to nearby Ariel or Ma’aleh Ephraim to receive medical attention as well as grocery shopping and swimming.

Directions:The 161 bus line from Ariel travels to Migdalim 8 times a day.
