BEIT HORON

Beit Horon prides itself on being one of the first integrated communities, with religious, traditional and secular families sharing an active community life. The basis for their social success is their common love of the Jewish People and their respect and tolerance for differing lifestyles and values.

Established in 1978, Beit Horon’s residents now number 180 families of all ages and stages of building their families. Living together with the native-born Israelis are olim from The United Stats, England, Holland, Australia and many other countries around the world.

Located just a quick 20 minute drive from Ramot, one of Jerusalem’s northern neighborhoods, Beit Horon is conveniently situated on Highway 443 with easy access to Tel Aviv and the entire Coastal Region

The fine educational facilities are one of the aspects of Beit Horon which attracts new families yearly. Supervised by the government religious educational ministry, the 3 kindergartens and elementary school are exemplary frameworks reflecting the community’s commitment to social tolerance and diversity

Junior High and High School students are provided with bus transportation to Jerusalem by The Binyamin Regional Council

Some of the many extracurricular activities provided for children and teens are ballet, jazz, keyboard, guitar, art, soccer and a variety of religious subjects. Fitness activities and Torah study are available for women and Torah learning is widespread among the men of the community

There is an active branch of Bnei Akiva in Beit Horon as well as a library and gym. A swimming pool is a mere 10 minutes away in neighboring Givat Zev

Two synagogues, a mikve, Beit Midrash, medical clinic and grocery store round out the community facilities

Directions:Beit Horon is on Hwy 443, just 20 minutes from Ramot and about 45 minutes from Tel Aviv
